Charity case 14: Phung Khanh An
In January 2019, PHUCBINH DONATION sponsored the heart surgery of Phung Khanh An with an amount of more than 25 million VND.

Phung Khanh An – 4 days old, diagnosed with congenital heart disease.
Phung Khanh An was born into a family of farming parents in Lao Cai. Before Khanh An was born, because when measuring the fetal heart, the doctor diagnosed that the Lao Cai route could not intervene, so family transferred to Hanoi. The couple went to Hanoi with a total of 34,000,000 VND (20 million for the couple, 14 million for both parents) to pay for hospital fees. After giving birth, Khanh An had to be transferred to the Central Heart Hospital while Khanh An’s mother remained at the Central Obstetrics Institute.
Khanh An’s condition: Having congenital heart disease, requiring urgent stenting of the ductus arteriosus. The treatment process lasts many times because as the body grows, the body develops, so the baby tube is no longer suitable.
The cost for this surgery is 25,000,000 VND, but when Khanh An is 3 years old or 9 years old or an adult, Khanh An still need to be treated. The cost of surgery when Khanh An become an adult is much higher (the cost of buying a stent, excluding the operating cost, is about 80-100 million VND).

On January 7, 2018, the representatives from PHUCBINH DONATION visited and gave an amount of VND 25,000,000 (two-five million VND) to finance the first surgery.
