Charity case 16: Mr Le Trong Nghia
In March 2019, PHUCBINH DONATION sponsored Le Trong Nghia’ family during the treatment days at the Children’s Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City and the Heart Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City with a total donation of 50 million VND.

Le Trong Nghia – 3 months old, had congenital heart disease.
The PHUCBINH DONATION Fund received a message asking for help from Nghia’s father, who longed to save his son. He and his family have put all their money, borrowed money everywhere to find a way to save his son – 3-month-old, who lives in Tan Thuy Hamlet, Ia Ga Commune, Chu Prong District, Gia Lai with congenital heart disease. But the family only had enough money for the child to be treated at Children’s Hospital within 1 week (from January 5 to January 11, 2019), not eligible for heart surgery, the child had to be discharged in respiratory failure while breathing NCPAP.
Trong Nghia often suffers from pain and torment caused by illness, making her skin pale and lips purple. At birth, he weighed 4,700 grams, but after 3 months, he was only less than 1,900 grams.
Currently, his family’s economic conditions are too exhausted, leading to a deadlock, despair, and no more assets. Trong Nghia does not have aortic valve holes, aortic arch hypoplasia, ventricular septal defect, and ductus arteriosus with pneumonia, so his health is very poor.

On April 13, 2019, Nghia’s heart surgery was successful with the support of the PHUCBINH DONATION fund (sponsoring more than VND 50 million), of which the total cost of the operation alone was more than VND 85 million. But his health deteriorated due to blood infection. After fighting with illness, Trong Nghia died when he was only 3 months old. It’s so sad! Pray for Trong Nghia to be happy in a new horizon.
