Charity case 18: Ms Phung Khanh An

In September 2019, PHUCBINH DONATION sponsored the second heart surgery of Phung Khanh An with the amount of 28 million VND.

Phung Khanh An is a 8 months old who lives in a rural area of Lao Cai province. Khanh An’s health was poor throughout his childhood, with frequent bouts of pneumonia and fever. When Khanh An was just over 2 months old, Khanh An was diagnosed with congenital heart disease and was assigned to have Stant tube surgery at Hanoi Heart Hospital. The cost of surgery is too big for Khanh An’s family. Fortunately, PHUCBINH DONATION sponsored 100% of the cost of the 1st surgery, worth of 18 million VND (with health insurance).

In September 2019, the Khanh An’s health deteriorated. Khanh An received instructions for urgent intervention from doctors with the cost of surgery about 70 million VND. Khanh An often suffers from pain and torment caused by illness, making skin pale and lips purple. According to the treatment regimen from now until the age of 18, Khanh An will have to have 3-4 more surgeries.
